This year the beloved Salem Haunted Magic Show returns for its 12th season at the Tabernacle Congregational Church’s Emerson Hall. Step through the threshold of the theater and transport yourself back to a P.T Barnum-esc circus set up with flashing lights and a big top feel. So what is to be expected when you enter the Haunted Magic show? Picture live animals, shocking illusions, mind-reading, magic, and more! Chris the magician and creator behind the show looks to curate a new and exciting experience each year for new or repeat attendees. The Salem Haunted Magic show truly is rooted in the concept of hospitality with Chris’s family working the front table to check show-goers in and to make each individual feel at home when entering the space.

Christ is an expert at making the audience feel at ease with his sharp wit and quick sense of humor. He opens his show making the audience laugh, and preparing everyone for an evening of illusion and mystifying magical acts. One of the first things Chris does is let viewers know that he will be tricking you throughout the performance and that he invites you to participate and be a part of the fun. Pulling out a large bag of glass he asks participants to inspect the glass to make sure it’s real. He then takes the glass and spreads it across the stage slowly walking across the broken pieces. This is just one of the many moments that Chris will leave you looking at the stage in bewilderment.

Throughout the performance, Chris and his lovely assistant call upon audience members to participate in the illusion and awe of the evening. He asks the audience to collaborate with him on crazy mind-reading acts that truly seem out of the realm of any ordinary psychic ability. The comedy throughout the show paints a tapestry of what the core of Chris act truly is. He makes magic and illusion approachable through the use of his comedic timing. Not only will he have you laughing the entire performance, but Chris will captivate you long past his performance with his bone chilling ghost stories and local lore!
The Salem Haunted Magic Show is an interactive, theatrical magic & mind reading performance with a focus on bizarre real-life happenings, scary ghost stories, and impossible magic, illusion and mind reading all live on stage! Our show is all-ages but is definitely NOT a kid’s magic show.

Order your tickets in advance as we will likely sell out most shows! Tickets are also available on-site at our box office in Salem. Please make sure to plan ahead for you visit especially if you are planning to visit Salem, MA in the lead up to Halloween. Parking is limited in town so give yourself at least an hour before you ticket show time to find parking or use the Satellite Lots on weekends that are available around town.
