If you’ve ever had a brush with something you couldn’t explain, Corinne and Sabrina want to hear about it. The hosts of Two Girls One Ghost, one of the biggest paranormal podcasts in the country, are coming to Salem on Monday, Oct. 26, and they’re taking to the streets to collect ghost stories straight from the people who know them best: you.

No studio, no appointment, no script. Just two lifelong believers walking the heart of Haunted Happenings with a microphone, asking visitors one question: what’s your best ghost story?

Meet Corinne and Sabrina

Corinne Vien and Sabrina Deana-Roga are best friends who turned a shared obsession with the unexplained into Two Girls One Ghost, a paranormal comedy podcast they launched in August 2017. Nine years and more than 800 episodes later, the show has passed 100 million downloads, joined Sony Music Entertainment’s podcast slate, and built a fiercely loyal fanbase that calls itself the Fan-toms.

The format is equal parts chills and laughs: haunted history, true crime, cryptids, and the listener-submitted encounters that have become a signature of the show. That last part is what makes this trip feel inevitable. For nine years, fans have been writing in with their own stories. On Oct. 26, Corinne and Sabrina are skipping the inbox and coming to hear them in person, in the one town where everybody seems to have one.

What they want to hear

Everything. The shadow in your childhood bedroom. The hotel room that never felt empty. The grandmother who stopped by one last time. The thing that followed you home from a cemetery tour. Your story doesn’t need to be polished, and it doesn’t need to make sense. The ones that stick are usually the ones the teller still can’t explain.

Salem in October is the perfect place to collect them. Haunted Happenings draws more than a million visitors every year, and this fall the city is celebrating its 400th anniversary, which means four centuries of history under the feet of lifelong locals and first-time visitors alike. A lot of those people arrive with a story they’ve been waiting to tell. Keep it to a few minutes, keep it true (or at least true to you), and don’t be surprised if it ends up on a future episode.

Where to find them

Monday, Oct. 26, 11am to 2pm walking along Essex Street pedestrian mall near Derby Square

Can’t make it on the 26th?

Tell it anyway. Post your story, tag @twogirlsoneghost and it may still find its way to Corinne and Sabrina. And if you’ve never listened, this is the week to start. New episodes of Two Girls One Ghost drop Thursdays and Sundays wherever you get your podcasts, and the ones recorded on Salem’s streets this October will be worth the wait.

See you on the 26th. Bring your stories. Leave the ghosts at home, if you can.
