2023 SHUTTLE UPDATES

Extra Shuttles have been added for this October season on Monday and Tuesday, 10/30 & 10/31

shuttles will run 10:00am-8:00pm both days

ONLY at Salem High School for these two days (as opposed to the three satellite lots we usually have been using)

There will be 1 standard and 1 accessible bus for these two days.

Residents and visitors ride free from three satellite parking lots every weekend in October

The City of Salem’s free October weekend shuttle returns for its sixth year starting on September 30. Visitors are strongly encouraged to utilize the free parking at the shuttle satellite lots and ride the free shuttle into downtown Salem.

Shuttles run September 30 – October 1, October 7 – 9, on Indigenous Peoples Day, October 14-15, 21-22, and 28-29 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. between three free satellite parking lots and downtown Salem.

Park for free at any one of the three free satellite parking lots – Salem State University’s O’Keefe Center parking lot (225 Canal Street), Salem High School (77 Willson Street), and 108 Jefferson Avenue behind Salem Hospital.

Together the three satellite lots offer more than 1,300 spaces free parking spaces. The downtown pick-up/drop-off location is in Riley Plaza.

An accessible shuttle is available for those who require one and stops at the High School and Jefferson Avenue lots, as well as Riley Plaza.

Route A: Salem High School (77 Willson Street) / Jefferson Ave (108 Jefferson Ave)

Route B: Salem State University’s O’Keefe Center parking lot (225 Canal Street) / (108 Jefferson Ave)

Both Routes: 108 Jefferson Avenue behind Salem Hospital

NOTE: Only the lot at 108 Jefferson Street is for Haunted Happenings parking. Vehicles parked for the shuttle in other Salem Hospital lots may be towed at owner’s expense.

The downtown pick-up/drop-off location is in Riley Plaza.

An accessible bus will stop at the High School and Jefferson Avenue lots, as well as Riley Plaza.
