In 1925, an expedition of treasure-seeking explorers stumble upon an ancient tomb in the Sahara Desert. The treasure hunters unwittingly set loose a 3,000-year-old legacy of terror, which is embodied in the vengeful reincarnation of a traitorous Egyptian priest who has been cursed for all eternity to become one of the living dead.
