Join Matthew Venus of Spiritus Arcanum for a concise & hands-on exploration of the techniques of candle magic. In this workshop we will discuss traditional approaches to carving, dressing, & blessing candles for magical work. In addition, we will discuss various forms of candles & their proper uses, color symbolism, the uses of herbs & oils, proper timing for candle burning rituals, & creating a candle burning altar, including advanced forms of multi-candle layouts to give your spellwork the best results. Each participant will also be able to dress & prepare a candle to take home with them. All levels & all traditions are welcome. You do not need to identify as a witch to participate or attend.
