SALEM HAUNTED HAPPENINGS America's Halloween Festival Nobody celebrates Halloween quite like Salem, Massachusetts. Whether you are seeking the changing leaves and cooler weather New England Autumn brings or the ghosts and goblins that Halloween is known for, you will find it all in Salem this October. The 25h Annual Salem Haunted Happenings will begin on Thursday, October 6 and it will feature a full month of events, museums, attractions, shops, haunted houses and fantastic dining. In addition to extended hours at most of Salem's museums, cultural sites and attractions, you will find special programming and events that celebrate the spirits of Halloween! Bring comfortable shoes, because Salem is a walking city and you won't want to miss a beat during Salem Haunted Happenings 2005. From the Spirits of the Gables at the House of the Seven Gables to Eerie Events at the Peabody Essex Museum and the fabulous annual Costume Ball at the Hawthorne Hotel, October will be chock full of events to please everyone. Salem's streets will be busy with merchants, an international food court, dramatic productions, psychic fairs and games. Accommodations book up quickly, and we encourage you to make your reservations in one of our historic hotels or inns now. If you can not find the information you are seeking on this Web site, please let us know at halloween@salem.org and browse our other site at www.salem.org. The calendar of events will continue to be updated as events are planned, so check back often. We look forward to seeing you in October at Salem Haunted Happenings: America's Halloween Festival! |
